MS Works Apprenticeship (MSWA)
The MS Works Apprenticeship (MSWA) is a pilot program designed to help decrease critical skill gaps and expand on-the-job training opportunities that lead to high paying jobs while also helping businesses grow their skilled workforce. The two-year pilot program, which became effective August 1, 2019, is intended to develop or expand traditional Registered or Non-Registered apprenticeship programs. Each one of Mississippi’s four local workforce development areas (LWDA) administers their own MSWA program based on policy specific to their area.
